Sony is expected to launch a new edition of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z alongside the next Sony Xperia flagship.
Our faithful tech tipster, @evleaks, has provided us with some new details on the products Sony is expected to launch in February at the Barcelona-based MWC conference.
According to @evleaks, the tablet is currently codenamed “Castor” by the Japanese electronics giant, but nothing else is known about its design, software or hardware.
The only thing we’ve been told is that it will feature a Qualcomm MSM8974AB processor, which is variant of the Snapdragon 800 CPU.
It will also have 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity when it launches next month.
The Sony 2014 flagship is codenamed “Sirius” and should also launch at MWC next month.
According to a separate tweet from @evleaks, the Sony Sirius smartphone will have a 5.2-inch display.
Unfortunately, that’s all we know so far about the next Sony flagship smartphone, but with MWC just a few weeks away, we won’t have long to wait.
