CES 2014 is full of all sorts of bizarre ideas and concepts and Razer is often at the forefront of them, as it proves this year with Project Christine: a spectacular modular PC concept.
Yes, yes, it is just a concept. There is no guarantee that Project Christine will ever see the light of day, but we really hope that it does.
As Razer describes on its website, for as long as we can remember tinkering with your PC was the preserve of the enthusiast:
"Convoluted hardware made it insane for the average person: knowing what does what, what works with what, and how to connect the pieces."
All of which sounds a like a good effort at justifying this mad concept, but we're not really buying that. Razer goes on to describe a modular system where each system concept can be swapped in and out just like you would a USB hard drive. Of course, each module is noise protected and water cooled because... you know... that's what regular consumers really need.
Is this realistic? Probably not, but damn it looks cool. Watch the concept video below.
