Asus has launched the Asus VivoTab Note 8, a Windows 8.1 tablet that comes with a Wacom digital stylus.
The first 8-inch version of the Asus VivoTab, the VivoTab Note 8 is designed for working on the go with Microsoft Office Home and Student offered as standard as well as the handy stylus.

The Asus VivoTab Note 8 comes with an 8-inch 1280 x 800p HD IPS display, running the latest Windows 8.1 OS.
It runs on an Intel Atom “BayTrail” Z3740 processor with 2GB of RAM and has 32GB of internal storage. This can be bolstered by the microSD slot, which supports cards up to 64GB in size.
Asus is also offering unlimited Asus WebStorage access for a year with the VivoTab 8, which is great for those opting for the smaller storage sizes.
With a 15.5Whr battery, Asus claims the VivoTab Note 8 can offer an 8-hour battery life for around a day’s worth of intensive use.
The professional Wacom digitiser stylus is hidden in a holder along the bottom edge of the tablet for easy access. The Wacom stylus has over 1000 levels of pressure sensitivity so you can develop your sketches and drawings.
To increase your productivity, a full version of the Microsoft Office Home and Student edition is pre-installed on the VivoTab Note 8, so you have Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote on your tablet from the off.
The VivoTab Note 8 alsofeatures SonicMaster audio technology and weighs just 380g. This is a touch weightier than the iPad mini 2, but still very portable.
