Apple iPad event live stream: Where to watch

Apple will be offering a live stream of tonight’s iPad event for those of you eager to see the ofificla unveiling of the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2.

Unlike the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C launch event, Apple is going to live stream tonight’s event that should reveal the duo of new tablets.

As with previous events, you’ll only be able to watch it via Safari or an Apple TV from 6pm BST tonight.

The Apple Events channel on Apple TV set top boxes has reopened baring the live stream link for the October 22 event. All you have to do it hit that play button at (or a little before) 6pm tonight to follow the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 announcements as they happen.

The Apple Special Event page for tonight’s launch has also appear on the Apple Events page on the official website.

You’ll need to be accessing the page via Apple’s own Safari browser on a Mac running OS X 10.6 or later or an iOS 4.2 device or better.

Apple has also taken its online store offline ahead of tonight’s event, just to ramp up the hype a little bit more before 6pm.

Both the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 are expected to be officially unveiled at tonight’s event, but Apple should also announce the OS X Mavericks release date.

The Cupertino company could also launch refreshed MacBook Pros with Intel Haswell processors, new iPods and an updated Apple TV too.
