A SIM-free Samsung Galaxy Note 4 price has been confirmed ahead of the phone’s official UK release later this week.
With Samsung’s latest phablet offering set to hit British retailers this Friday, October 17, the Korean manufacturer has revealed that the 5.7-inch iPhone 6 Plus rival will set wannabe owners back a whopping £629.
Although the Note 4 features 32GB of internal storage – with microSD offering expansion options up to 128GB – this hefty fee sees the phone line up £10 more expensive than the 16GB entry-level iPhone 6 Plus and a full £90 more than the entry level iPhone 6.
While no 32GB iPhone offering is available, Apple’s 5.5-inch phone sets consumers back £699 for 64GB of internals and a wallet bashing £789 for a 128GB option.
For this considerable outlay, Samsung has bestowed the Note 4 with all manner of premium components.
As well as a stunning 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel QHD display, the Note 4’s specs sheet is enhanced by a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM.
Lining up alongside the Note line’s trademark S-Pen stylus, the handset also adds a 16-megapixel OIS rear-mounted camera and a 3220mAh Lithium-Ion battery.
This mass of high-end internals is wrapped up in a new, premium, metal edged design which echoes that of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Available for pre-order now, three Samsung Galaxy Note 4 colours are available through the company’s official site, with gold joining the traditional black and white options.
