Nexus 6 Deals: Where to buy Google’s 6-inch phone

After what seemed like endless teases and leaks, Google finally revealed its brand new flagship smartphone, the Nexus 6.

We’ve scoured the web and tracked down the hottest deals and freshest prices for the new Nexus 6 to help you get the most value for your cash.

The Nexus 6 packs a 6-inch QHD display, a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, and a 3220mAh battery. Storage options are 32GB and 64GB.

The device is available to pre-order from October 29 with a Nexus 6 release date set for early November.

Here’s where you can snag yourself a Nexus 6:

O2

O2 says it’s going to start selling the Motorola-made Nexus 6 in the coming weeks, with the handset also promised to be available on Refresh tariffs.

Full pricing isn’t yet available although O2 says they’ll make an announcement in the next few days.

For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S5 with 500MB of data on O2 costs £33 a month with no upfront cost. 20GB of data will see the monthly cost rise to £48 a month with zero upfront fee.

The iPhone 6 Plus goes on O2 with 2GB of data for £48 a month with £9.99 upfront, or £43 a month with £119.99 upfront. There’s also a 20GB plan available at £58 a month with zero upfront fee.

Google Play

Unsurprisingly, Google has confirmed that it’ll be selling the Nexus 6 through its Google Play devices store.

The device isn’t showing up on its store yet, although we’re expecting this to be updated on October 29.

The Nexus 5, which Google is keeping available, was £300 at launch for the 16GB model. However, the larger size and bumped up specs of the Nexus 6 are sure to add premium this time around.

Amazon

While Amazon hasn’t made any announcements regarding the Nexus 6, it’s likely they’ll be stocking the device.

Amazon stocked the Nexus 5, and there are already some sellers flogging Nexus 6 accessories on the site, so it’s a shoo-in to be on sale via the online retailer.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile has confirmed it will be selling the device over in the US, but there’s been no word from the firm – which is incorporated as part of EE on our shores - thus far about peddling the Nexus 6 on UK soil.

Clove

Clove hasn’t confirmed anything just yet, but it does have a page dedicated to the Nexus 6 where you can ‘register your interest’.

With this in mind, and considering Clove’s history of generally being speedy with device pre-orders, it’s assured the retailer will be flogging the Nexus 6 very soon.

Unlocked pricing

While we don’t have any UK specific pricing just yet, the US sim-free handset is set to mark up at $650, which translates to around £406.

Given the success of past Nexus handsets, we can’t see the full collection of leading UK network providers wanting to miss out on the latest Google offering.

We will continue to update this page with all the latest information and deals as soon as we hear from the likes of Three, Carphone Warehouse et al.
