The Nexus 9 release date has been confirmed for November 3, with pre-orders set to begin October 17.
The brand new Google-stamped slate was announced today, taking up prime position as the search engine giant’s premium flagship tablet.
The device will ship in 16GB, 32GB, and 32GB LTE models, with three colour options available – black, white, and sand.
UK retailers confirmed to be stocking the device include Currys, PC World, John Lewis, Argos, Amazon.co.uk, Three, and O2.
You’ll also be able to thrown down pre-order cash for the new tab over on the Google Play Store starting Friday.
Google’s new tablet sports an 8.9-inch IPS display with a 2048 x 1536 resolution and an aspect ratio of 4:3.
Inside you’ll fine Nvidia’s new powerhouse Tegra K1 chip, clocking in at 2.3GHz and running on 64-bit architecture.
There’s also a Kepler DX1 GPU and 2GB of RAM, all set alongside a juice-packing 6700mAh.
The device will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed, giving you access to optimized battery life options and Google’s new material design aesthetic.
