The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 battery life is being boosted ahead of the phone’s official UK release later this week.
With the 5.7-inch stylus-loving device set to hit British shores this Friday, October 17, Samsung has confirmed a firmware update for the device is already available to further enhance the phone’s staying power.
Although the full scale of these battery-boosting benefits is currently unclear, any enhancement to the QHD phone’s longevity on a single charge is a welcome one.
The Note 4 is powered by a 3220mAh Lithium-Ion battery. From our early use, we have been impressed with the Note 4’s battery life, easily passing the troubling one day hump.
With the handset currently on sale in the company’s native Korea, the Note 4 firmware update also brings a range of bug fixes and stability improvements to the iPhone 6 Plus rival.
The firmware patch is circling under the moniker XXU1ANJ4 – catchy, we know. For those looking to snap up the Note 4 when it hits the UK, the update will be available as a free download.
