iPad mini 3 introduces the new gold colour
After launching the iPad mini 3, complete with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, Apple has given the older models a considerable price cut.
The original iPad mini is now available for £199 ($249), which is the first time a new iPad has been available for under £200.
The iPad mini 2 with Retina Display represents even better value at just £239 ($299) for the 16GB model, down from £319 ($399)
The new iPad mini 3, on the other hand takes on the price of £319.
Considering the iPad mini 3 deploys the previous generation A7 processor and not a lot else that’s new, it’s more difficult for users to to justify the extra expenditure.
Is the Touch ID fingerprint scanner or the alternate gold colour worth £80 to you?
