The long-awaited wearable device from Apple will be revealed at the company’s iPhone 6 event on September 9, according to reports on Wednesday.
The reliable Recode website claims the plans to unveil the iWatch (or whatever it ends up being called) at a special event in October have been scrapped so the reveal can been brought forward.
If the report is correct, it instantly adds a new level of excitement ahead of the Apple event, which is less than two weeks away.
Now the launch may include the most anticipated new Apple product since the original iPad, expect the usual whooping and hollering to be turned up a notch or two during the keynote address.

According to the Recode report it'll also work with Apple's HomeKit app, perhaps giving users control over the connected gadgets in their home without even reaching for an iPhone or iPad.
Given recent rumours the iWatch could be delayed until 2015 an early launch would boost Apple fans’ chances of adding the device to their Christmas lists.
The news comes shortly after Apple CEO Tim Cook one again promised the company would break into new product categories and announce the most exciting line-up of Apple products in 25 years.
The iWatch will be Apple's first wearable device and will arrive to challenge offerings from Samsung, LG and Motorola through Android Wear, independent offerings from Pebble and fitness trackers like the Jawbone UP 24.
An Apple spokesperson has declined to comment on the reports.
