iPhone 6 colours teased as SIM tray leaks

Leaked SIM trays have seemingly confirmed that there will be three iPhone 6 colours available at launch, echoing Apple’s options with the current iPhone 5S.

With serial tipster Nowhereelse.fr having got its hands on the full collection of iPhone 6 SIM trays, it has been suggested that the eagerly awaited handset will be available in silver, grey and gold hues.

Colour schemes aside, the latest leaks have also offered further insight into the iPhone 6 design.

It is suggested that the trays feature slightly curved edges, adding backing to claims the phone will feature an all new, rounded-edged design.

With rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 coming in a bevy of colour schemes, it had been suggested that Apple could adopt new tones for its latest phone. These leaks, however, appear to rubbish such claims.

Widely expected to be unveiled on September 9, the iPhone 6 is being lined up for release later the same month. A September 19 release is being predicted by many.

Set to run a new, faster and more energy efficient A8 processor, the iPhone 6 will pair its revised looks with a larger, 4.7-inch screen and the new iOS 8 operating system.
