Sky Sports News HQ on Now TV

Sky has added a new Sky Sports News HQ app to its Now TV set top box. Anyone with an active Now TV pass, whether it’s for movies, entertainment or sports, will be able to keep up to date with the latest breaking sports news.

The timing couldn’t be better. Next Monday is one of Sky Sports News’ two busiest days of the year: Transfer Deadline Day. The new app means anyone keen to see Manchester United pay way over the odds for a second–rate defender or Harry Redknapp holding forth through the window of his Range Rover will not be disappointed.

Additionally, anyone who has a Sky Sports Day Pass or Sky Sports Week Pass will be able to watch Sky Sports News HQ for 30 days after activation, even after their pass has expired.

Sky Sports News was given a glitzy relaunch to coincide with the start of the new football season. As well as Transfer Deadline Day, punters will be able to watch the always entertaining Gillette Soccer Saturday and stay updated with news on news of upcoming events such as the Ryder Cup and Cricket World Cup.

“Sky Sports News HQ is always right at the heart of the latest breaking sports news and the new app on the NOW TV Box means sports fans can now get even more from their NOW TV passes,” said Gidon Katz, director of Now TV.
