The LG G Watch R release date has been pencilled in for October.
Although the South Korean giant isn’t willing just yet to be any more specific, it looks like you won’t have too long to wait.
Announced just a few days prior to IFA 2014, the LG G Watch R is due to touch down on store shelves from sometime next month.
We already know pretty much everything about the LG G Watch R and its lovely perfectly round face.
It will come with a 1.3-inch circular P-OLED display with a 320 x 320p resolution, which works out at an image density of 245ppi. You’ll get 512MB of RAM with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU and 4GB of on-board storage.
As with the original LG G Watch, the G Watch R is waterproof and has a built-in microphone for Google Now voice commands.
The G Watch R connects to your phone via Bluetooth 4.0 LE and there’s a few bio sensors included for health and fitness tracking.
It is expected to launch with a price tag around €299 (or £240) when it does go on sale next month.
