Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard
Logitech has announced a new Bluetooth keyboard that will enable users to switch between their computer, smartphone and tablet devices with ease.
The Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard K480 features a dial that takes allows the peripheral to jump from gadget to gadget, depending on whether users are word processing, replying to messages on the phone or perhaps updating their calendar on the tablet.
The keyboard also features an integrated stand that allows multi-taskers to create a veritable command centre for their mobile and desktop tech and can be used with various combinations of the three major categories.
Logitech’s model is compatible with Windows 7 and 8 PCs, Mac OS X, iOS devices with iOS 5 on board, Google Chrome OS laptops and Android phones and tablets running version 3.2 and up.
The keyboard is offered in black and white, requires two AAA batteries (that last for up to two years) and has a Bluetooth range of up to 10m.
It’ll be out in the UK and Europe before then of September for the rather reasonable cost of $49.99 (around £30).
On one of the highlights of the tech calendar, where we’ve seen advanced smart watches, VR headsets, curved screen designs and all manor of highfalutin wares, it’s also good to know the likes of Logitech are working on the simple stuff that just makes life a little easier for those of us who’re glued to our devices.
