Images of a white Google Nexus 5 have leaked online ahead of the phone’s formal unveiling, suggesting the phone will launch in a pair of colour schemes.
With the traditional black Google Nexus 5 having been caught on camera countless times in recent weeks, newly leaked images have shown the handset’s packaging, with a white Google Nexus 5 clearly depicted against the blue box.
With the Google Nexus 5 expected to be officially unveiled later this month, the newly surfaced white Google Nexus 5 pictures are the first sign of a lighter toned rendition of the Android 4.4 KitKat powered device being readied for market.
Although last year’s Google Nexus 4 was made available in a white finish, this iteration of the phone was only introduced in a limited run, and not for months after the original black model had made it to retailer.

Recent Google Nexus 5 rumours have hinted that the phone could be a new powerhouse of the smartphone scene, with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU lining up alongside 2GB of RAM, the option of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and Google latest operating system.
Further Google Nexus 5 specs tipped for inclusion will reportedly see an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera line up alongside a 1.6-megapixel forward-facing snapper and a 3000mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.
Set to be manufactured by LG, the Google Nexus 5, will feature a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display as well as the now commonplace, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and 4G connectivity options.
