Jabra has extended its line of portable wireless speakers, with the rugged Jabra Solemate Max officially unveiled.
Following in the footsteps of last year's Jabra Solemate and the recently introduced Solemate Mini, the portable Jabra Solemate Max speaker has a fuss-free design and a rugged finish akin to the sole of a sports shoe.
Jabra Solemate Max Features
The Jabra Solemate Max's textured base keeps it sturdy and protects against drops and tumbles during transportation.
Featuring both Bluetooth and NFC connectivity options, the stereo product can wirelessly connect to smartphones, laptops, tablets and MP3 players. It also comes with a cable for wired connections. It's bigger than its older siblings at 302mm by 102mm and its specs place it as a more high-end product.
The Jabra Solemate Max's battery is said to last for an impressive 14 hours of music streaming or 400 hours on standby mode, with an indicator showing a charge alert when power reaches critical levels.
The speaker is touted as flaunting the sound quality of a much bigger system, with two tweeters and two woofers and has Dolby's Sound Space Expander technology. It also has Digital Sound Processing, an Omni Directional microphone with noise filtering, and AVRCP. An extra special bonus is the device's ability to take and make calls.
Jabra Solemate Max Price and Availability
Although a finalised Jabra Solemate Max release date has yet to be confirmed, it has been announced that it will launch within the coming months. A Jabra Solemate Max price is also yet to be announced.
