Moto X specs leaked by AnTuTu benchmarks
The full Moto X specs sheet has leaked in an AnTuTu benchmark, showcasing the Motorola flagship’s hardware prior to its August 1 unveiling.
The leaked AnTuTu benchmarks outline the fullest specs list for the Moto X that has emerged so far, revealing that the flagship will be a strong mid-range device.
Run on an AT&T version of the Moto X codenamed Ghost, the AnTuTu benchmarks show the smartphone will have a 1.7GHZ dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro CPU with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 320 GPU.
The 4.7-inch screen is actually 4.5-inches without the on-screen buttons and has a 1184 x 720p HD resolution.
In the rear, the Moto X has a 10.5-megapixel camera with flash, coupled with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.
As for connectivity, the Moto X will have Wi-Fi and NFC with 4G LTE compatibility not mentioned. Running Android 4.2.2 the Moto X will have 16GB of internal memory, 12GB of which is available to the user. Unfortunately, from the looks of it, the Moto X will lack any microSD card expansion slot.
It will have a 2,200mAh non-removable battery and have resolutions of 128.5mm x 65mm. The thickness of the device though is still unknown.
Set to be formally unveiled on August 1 at a dedicated Motorola event in New York, the Moto X is the first flagship to be launched since the smartphone manufacturer was bought out by Google.
Official press images of the Moto X were teased last week, showcasing a similar Kevlar rear to the Motorola Razr i.
However, Motorola has already said the Moto X will be the first smartphone that consumers can design themselves.
“It’s also the first smartphone that you can design yourself. Because today you should have the freedom to design he things in your life to be as unique as you are,” reads the Moto X sign up page.
