Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours point to multiple screen sizes

With Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours hotting up, latest reports have suggested multiple version of the stylus bragging smartphone could land, each with a different screen size.

According to latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will land in triplicate, with the trio of handset offerings sporting a selection of displays, varying from 5.5-inches to 6-inches in size. Of course this is yet to be confirmed by the South Korean manufacturer and as such should be taken with a considerable pinch of salt.

The latest round of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours, which are based on model numbers surfaced by an Indian imports and exports tracker have suggested that the Galaxy Note 2 model will follow a similar path to the Samsung Galaxy Mega and land in a number of guises.

According to the claimed leaks, a 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and 6-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will bookend a 5.7-inch version of the phone. It is not currently known if this selection of screen sizes will be used to target different markets or simply provide options for customers’ individual preferences.

Spotted by the SM-N900 product code which is believed to have been attributed to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the collection of differing handset sizes have been tagged with a “for R&D purposes” marker, suggesting Samsung could be considering all three phones before choosing which to take to market. The current Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a 5.5-inch screen.

With a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date expected to be confirmed during press day of IFA 2013 on September 4, recent Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumours have pointed to the Samsung Galaxy S4 sibling sporting a 5.7-inch form factor.

Earlier this month news outlets in Samsung’s native Korea suggested the 5.7-inch design was on the cards, with the phone also set to play host to 3GB of RAM, a 1.9GHz quad-core CPU and the same 13-megapixel rear-mounted snapper as the S4.
