Ultimate Ears has launched the UE Boom wireless speaker it is branding as the world’s first social music player.
The UE Boom is a cylindrical wireless speaker offering 360 degree sound with a 15 hour battery life.

UE Boom Features
Ultimate Ears is apparently designed as the world’s first social music player, packaged in a small cylinder capable of providing 360-degree sound. Battery powered, UE Boom is capable of offering 15-hours of battery life on a single charge.
The wireless Bluetooth speaker has a unique skin that is stain and waterproof resistant making it more appealing to take anywhere the user wishes.
Two UE Boom speakers can be connected together using the iOS and Android UE Boom app, allowing them to play in stereo or as left and right stereo modes.
The UE Boom speaker features dual performance drivers to provide a balanced sound quality and dual passive radiators for pumping out those bass notes.
UE Boom Release Date and Price
Available from today on the Ultimate Ears website, the UE Boom wireless speaker is offered for an RRP of £169. It will also be on sale in Apple Stores and the Apple website from June.
The UE Boom comes in a range of six colours: black, white, blue, green, pink and red.
