The Xbox One price has leaked, would you be happy to splash out £399 for Microsoft's latest gamer?
An Xbox One release date has been teased following the console’s formal unveiling, with retailers listing the device for a November 30 arrival alongside a £399 Xbox One price tag.
While Microsoft has yet to formally announce the finalised Xbox One release date beyond stating the newly unveiled console will land “later this year,” online retailer Zavvi appears to have jumped the gun, prematurely unveiling the PS4 rivals’ release.
With many retailers having opened their Xbox One pre-orders with no indication as to when the console might actually land, Zavvi has stated a November 30 Xbox One release date is on the cards, a launch that would see the gamer land within the same ‘2013 holiday season’ window as its bitter Sony branded rival.
Again jumping the gun on the competition, and Microsoft itself, Zavvi has claimed that the Xbox One will cost £399 at launch, a price that is surprisingly accessible for the arrival of a new console turn home entertainment hub.
Coming boxed with the new, second-generation Kinect add-on, the Xbox One will launch ‘around the world’ simultaneously, with Microsoft yesterday announcing that the Xbox 360 follow-on will play host to an eight-core processor, 8GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD.
With an integrated Blu-ray player and all manner of new voice and gesture based commands, the Xbox One features list is sees a strong collection of capabilities mark the device out as a true home entertainment device, one which has move past its core gaming routes and into new avenues.
Lining up alongside a revised controller, the Xbox One will always require the new Kinect peripheral to be connected, with the add-on’s integrated array of speakers constantly working to catch any “Xbox On” commands that would kick the console into life.
