The New Microsoft Xbox One has been formally unveiled
The new Xbox One has been formally unveiled as Microsoft’s next-generation games console and direct PS4 rival.
Following years of rumours and endless speculation, the third-generation Xbox console has been officially shown off at Microsoft’s big XboxReveal, with the next-gen console to be formally known as the Xbox One.
Making the announced, Don Mattrick of Microsoft stated: “Today we put you at the centre of a new generation of entertainment.” He added: “This console is built to impress on day one and continue to impress as we move forward.”
Focusing on both gaming and multimedia capabilities, the new Xbox One was officially unveiled alongside a revised Kinect peripheral and a remodelled controlled.
Stating “The living room has changed radically over the last eight years,” Mattrick added: “Today we look forward, ioncreadable shifts are happening across games and entertainment. Audiences are spending their time enjoying different types of content.”
