PS4 price details have reportedly leaked online, with the next-generation Sony console tipped to feature a 399 Euro price tag just hours ahead of the big new Xbox 720 launch event.
Reportedly spotted on the official Sony India website, latest reports have suggested the PS4 price will see the upcoming console land sporting a 399 Euro (£338) fee when accompanied by a sizeable 250GB hard drive.
With the claimed Sony India slipup having since been removed from the site, we have to take German gaming blog Playfront at their word on these reports, and suggest you take such claims with a sizeable pinch of salt.
Coming just hours ahead of Microsoft’s big Xbox reveal which is set to see the mooted Xbox 720 enter the realms of reality following near endless rumours and much speculation, the new PS4 price rumours offer the first potential insight into how much the upcoming console will set back wannabe gamers.
Formally unveiled back in February, Sony has still kept the PS4 shrouded in mystery, with the PS4 release date currently no more precise that the ‘2013 holiday season’.
Further teasing the imminent PS4 arrival, Sony yesterday released a new PS4 teaser trailer, hinting at the console’s final design and promising to unveil the gamer’s final look at a June 10 press event. Taking place on the eve of E3 2013, the final PS4 unveil will follow an Xbox event on the same day.
