The Windows 8 Microsoft Surface Pro tablet will be available in the UK from today with prices starting at £719 for the 64GB version.


Anyone interested in buying the Microsoft Surface Pro can do so in the UK from today. The 64GB option costs £719 while the 128GB option will set consumers back £799.99.


We here at TrustedReviews were impressed by its 10.6-inch Full HD screen and innovative design. It fully showcases the Windows 8 platform and comes complete with a Wacom digitiser pen for all your scribblings.

Microsoft Surface Pro Features


The Microsoft Surface Pro features a 10.6-inch ClearType Full HD display offering 1920 x 1980p resolutions. Packing a third generation Intel Core i5 processor with 4GB of RAM, the Surface Pro also includes Intel HD Graphics 4000.


Running Windows 8, the Microsoft Surface Pro includes either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and is compatible with apps from Windows 7.


Packing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) connectivity, the Surface Pro has two 720p HD LifeCams in the front and rear of the device and a 42W-h battery.


Coming complete with a Wacom digitise pen stylus, the Microsoft Surface Pro is a fairly heft 910g in weight and is a chunky 1.35cm in width, potentially making it not the tablet that scores highest for portability.


With a full-sized USB 3.0, microSD card slot and Mini DisplayPort, the Microsoft Surface Pro is well connected, and is aimed to be used as a device for all the user’s needs from business to pleasure.
