LG G4 invite

The LG G4 will be officially unveiled on April 28, LG has officially confirmed.

With the Korean manufacturer having previously announced plans to hold a series of international launch events in late April, the company has now name checked the G4 in formal invites.

Dispelling any potential confusion around the subject of its upcoming unveiling, the manufacturer has emblazoned invites with the strap line “LG invites you to the official unveiling of LG G4”.

The phone will be formally showcased at 4pm BST.

Previously, the ‘save the date’ cards had teased the G4’s arrival without formally confirming the company’s plans.

They had been adorned with the teasing message “ See the Great. Feel the Great.”

As well as confirming the phone’s name, the invite has teased the handset’s new low-light speciality f/1.8 primary camera and confirmed the LG G3’s rear-mounted volume and power keys.

What’s more, like the save the date note, the G4 event invite has once again suggested the handset will shun a plastic or metallic build in favour of a new, leather finish.
