Samsung Galaxy S6 chassis leak
Images have emerged that seemingly show off the Samsung Galaxy S6's all-metal frame.
Numerous reports have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will emerge with a radically changed design, one that takes a cue from the Samsung Galaxy Alpha rather than the disappointingly plastic Samsung Galaxy S5.
Now we've gained the most convincing impression yet of what that will look like, courtesy of a bunch of leaked images over on China's primary social network Weibo, as republished by French blog Nowhereelse.
The images appear to show a solid metal frame, suggesting that the final Samsung Galaxy S6 will have a plastic rear cover - much like the Alpha and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
However, the design of the outer rim is different to those earlier efforts. Indeed, with its rounded edges and machined ports along the lower edge, it looks rather reminiscent of the iPhone 6.
This leaked chassis also seems to suggest that we won't be seeing the extreme curved display that has been rumoured - at least not in this particular variant.

We'll find out for sure if this is a genuine Samsung Galaxy S6 component in just under a month. Samsung is holding a launch event on March 1, just on the eve of MWC 2015.
We're expecting it to contain a QHD Super AMOLED display (likely around the 5.2-inch mark) and one of Samsung's own Exynos processors. Qualcomm has virtually confirmed that the Galaxy S6 won't use the Snapdragon 810, as other 2015 Android flagships are likely to do.
