Samsung GS6 invite

Another report has emerged from a reputable source pointing to the idea that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature a metal body and a wrap-around display.

To be more specific, while a metal construction will feature across the Galaxy S6 range, one version of Samsung's next flagship phone will feature a curved display.

Bloomberg has just posted a story confirming that Samsung will launch two high-end phones next month at MWC 2015. One will be a fairly regular shape (likely the Samsung Galaxy S6) with a flat display, while the other will be a little more experimental.

As per previous rumours, the other new phone will apparently sport a display that curves around two of the phone's edges. Think of the Galaxy Note Edge, only with the curved effect repeated on the opposite edge.

That's the case "according to people with direct knowledge of the matter," who also confirm that both new models - which are being developed under the "Project Zero" code name - will have all-metal bodies.

It's also claimed that both displays, despite the difference in shape, will be 5.1-inches in size. That means that Samsung will be sticking with the same size of screen as the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Earlier in the month, Samsung posted invites to a launch event to be held on March 1 (pictured). It appears to hint at a mobile device with some kind of curved element to it, which only adds weight to these rumours.
