Amazon is giving away £70 of apps until Valentine’s Day

In an apparent effort to help you ‘shake off those Winter Blues’, Amazon is giving away £70 of apps for free via the Amazon Appstore.

The promotion is set to run from the 12th until the 14th, so you’ve got a whole three days to bag the no-cost goodies.

There are a total of 37 Android apps up for grabs, including games, trackers, and generally useful software.

For the gadget-toting letharios amongst you, there’s the ‘Hidden Object – Be My Valentine’ app, which you can score ahead of the big V-day.

There’s also Sworkit Pro, normally priced at £0.65, which will sweat you out with daily circuit training workouts, Yoga, Pilates, and stretching routines. Runtastic Pro, usually £3.30, is available free of charge, which will help track your fitness activities.

If you’re more of a thinker than a sprinter, you can download Speed Reading Trainer Full (£1.27), Guitar Pro (£4.89, or Caveman Feast – Paleo Recipes (£1.83), which will see your reading, music, and cooking skills given a boost.

The most expensive app on the list is the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English 5 – Audio Edition. While that might not sound like the most riveting of apps, you’re making a mega saving of £18.49 if you download it within the next three days.

Next priciest is OfficeSuite Professional 8, which will see the usual price of £14.99 slide to an enticing zilch.

Other noteworthy offerings include the language barrier-smashing Travel Interpreter, usually £5.99, and audiophile-friendly Shazam Encore, previously £3.59.

To download the apps, head over to the Amazon Appstore on an Android device, and check out the ‘Appstore Bundle’ page.
