Don't leave home without it
You're packing your bags for a trip, and your international charger takes up too much space. Mu System is for you.
It's the world's thinnest international charger, standing just 14mm wide. Using the British plug attachment, for use in the UK and Hong Kong, it's 70 per cent smaller than a standard plug. Impressive.
It consists of two parts: the power block with USB connector, and separate plug attachments that you use depending on where you are in the world. There's The American (US, Japan, China), The European (EU, China, Korea), The Aussie (Australasia, China) and The Brit, which we already mentioned.
Swapping the attachments is simple, just click them on.
A single 2.4 Amp USB port means it's compatible with pretty much any mobile device, be it Windows, Android or iOS. The makers claim it detects which device is plugged in and optimises the charge.

The people behind it have some pedigree when it comes to this kind of thing. They designed the Mu Classic, which won the Product Design of the Year Award when it launched in 2012. This was followed by the Mu Duo and Mu Tablet.
At time of writing, it's raised over 10 times its funding target of $10,000, and still has 32 days to go. You can nab one for $39 (£26), which is $10 cheaper than the retail price. It will ship in August.
