Prints charming
Smartphone cameras are becoming more advanced, but it'd be nice to have a hard copy of your snaps. Prynt can help – it's a mini printer that clips onto your handset.
Take a photo, and you can print straight away. You won't even need to wait for the ink to dry, so no shaking it like a Polaroid picture.
It doesn't need Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and works with both Android and iOS, though the selection of handsets is quite limited. At the moment it's only compatible with the iPhone 5, 5S, 5C and 6, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. In the future, the company hopes to expand to more devices.
There's no ink cartridge required, as it uses ZINK technology. Record a video, and using augmented reality, you can watch it back on the paper through your phone's screen using the app.
The case doesn't need charging, or connecting to your phone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Each pic takes about 30 seconds to print.

There are plenty of portable printers that do the same thing, but this is the first we've seen that doubles as a case for your phone. It does have its drawbacks. It's bulky, so you'll need a bag to carry it. There's no word on how much the paper costs outside of the pledge. (We're sure it won't be cheap.)
Nevertheless, it looks well thought out. It's sailed past its funding goal on Kickstarter and still has 33 days to go.
