Apple has finally revealed the release date for the long-awaited Apple Watch… well, narrowed it down to a one month time frame at least.

Following the company’s blockbusting earnings report on Tuesday, CEO Tim Cook said the wearable would go on sale in the United States sometime in April.

Cook wasn’t drawn on a precise date, but says the release would be release will be “right on schedule,” following his earlier vow to ship the watch in ‘early 2015.’

Previous indications had suggested Apple’s first wearable device would be released by the end of March. Either those reports were wide of the mark, or Apple has pushed back the release somewhat.

Sadly, there was still no word from the chief executive on when Apple plans to let iPhone and iPad users in other countries in on all the fun too.

Elsewhere in the earnings report, Apple announced it’d hit a record breaking 74.5 million iPhone’s in the last three months of 2015.

If the company can come anywhere close to replicating that success with the Apple Watch then they’ll be breaking out the bubbly in Cupertino.
