The OnePlus One could be getting a sized-down sequel according to the latest leaks.

Two images of what looks to be a OnePlus One ‘mini’ have turned up online, proffering the same design style as its apparent forebear.

What’s more, the purported OnePlus One Mini specs have also been leaked via an AnTuTu device profile.

For starters, the display measures up at 5-inches – that might not sound ‘mini’ exactly, but it’s plenty smaller than the 5.5-inch display packed onto the OnePlus One proper.

The device is also tipped to carry a Snapdragon 615 chip, which further lends itself to the idea of a scaled down handset.

The Snapdragon 615 is a great chip, but it’s by no means Qualcomm’s flagship – the OnePlus Two is likelier to carry a Snapdragon 805 or Snapdragon 810.

Two 8-megapixel sensors will also ship with the device, one on the front and one for the rear.

The final detail is that the device was running Android 4.4. KitKat. It’s worth noting though that a final release would probably run an Android 5.0 Lollipop-based version of CyanogenMod, and this the older OS was just used for stable testing.

The OnePlus One Mini is tipped to land at an unspecified time in 2015, and will retail at $245 – that’s about £157 sterling.

That price tag sounds rather fitting for OnePlus’ current marketing modus operandi of flogging its smartphone fare at manufacturing cost.
