Just Dance 2015 announced with Just Dance Now functionality

Ubisoft has announced Just Dance 2015, which will take advantage of a new Just Dance Now smartphone app that lets anyone play.

With over 100 million players interacting with the Just Dance universe since the game launched in 2009, this year's game has a strong focus on the gamers themselves.

"For the first time the passion of the community will help power the game," explained Ubisoft.

Ubisoft aims to put the players inside the game, letting people watch other people's dances when the game launches in October.

One of the main new features of the game is Just Dance Now, which is a smartphone functionality that lets you play Just Dance 2015 with just a smartphone.

Rather than having to have a controller, with Just Dance all you need is your phone. As long as you can see the screen that's currently showing Just Dance 2015, just head to the official website on your phone and then you can jump right in.

Ubisoft describes the functionality as "a breakthrough in latency free connected gaming" as “there is no limit to the amount of gamers that can play”.

“Anyone with a smartphone who can see the screen can join the game”, whether that's 20 or 20,000 people in a stadium.
