Next Mass Effect will feature all new characters

Bioware has teased some features of the next Mass Effect, dubbed Mass Effect 4 until we have an official name.

During the EA Games E3 2014 press conference, BioWare took to the stage in a new trailer to give us some fresh information on Mass Effect 4.

"We think fans of the series are going to be surprise with just how far we are going", explained Bioware.

We still don't have any idea when we'll be able to play Mass Effect 4, but Bioware has confirmed that the game will feature "new places, new characters and new people to fall in love with".

"We want to build a world that is as big and as imaginative as anything we have done so far", explained the developer. "At Bioware we are building worlds and journeys for the next generation."

The game will take you to a new location in space and will let you traverse to new planets at the touch of a button, without loading screens.

As for the new characters, we've not seen any of them yet, but apparently "you've never seen characters this real before".

Bioware claims that the new Mass Effect is "the chance to have a clean sheet" for the series.
