Bloodborne unveiled ahead of 2015 launch

The 2015 gaming line-up just got another high profile addition, with Bloodborne unveiled during Sony’s E3 press conference.

Developed by Software, Bloodbourne will launch at an undisclosed point next year as a dark, intense and seemingly gruesome first-person thriller.

“Tonight I get the honour to introduce a brand new IP from one of the industry’s most respected developers,” a Sony executive said in unveiling the game.

Set in a sinister gothic world, little has currently been confirmed about the upcoming title, with a teaser trailer showing off some bone-based weapon wielding action.

Although few confirmed Bloodborne details are currently available, the game looks set to fit with new parameters outlined by Sony for its upcoming titles.

“We know what best means, it means connected, it means the best visual quality, it means not being a lone gamer,” Andrew House, President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment said before passing the stage over to a run of new titles.

Although Bloodborne has been detailed for release on PS4 it has not been outlined as an exclusive, meaning an Xbox One offering should also be on the cards.

We hope to find out more on Bloodborne during the remainder of E3 so stay tuned to TrustedReviews for all the latest.
