The Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 will be available in gold exclusively at Carphone Warehouse. Both are up for pre-order now.
The gold A3 will be available from February 23, while the gold A5 will be available from March 2.
The standard-coloured handsets go on general sale from February 12.
You won't pay any extra for the gold version. Like the black and white, the gold A5 is available on contracts starting at £26.50 a month.
Samsung announced the handsets back in October, but only got round to setting a UK release date yesterday. Both have metal bodies, like the Galaxy Alpha and the recently-unveiled Galaxy A7. Many think the Galaxy S6 will also come clad in metal.
The A5 is the better-specced of the two. It totes a 5-inch 720p AMOLED screen, 1.2GHz quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. And all in a package that's 6.7mm slim. A 13-megapixel camera and 5-megapixel front-facer are on imaging duties.

The A3's 4.5-inch display has a resolution of 960x540 pixels. It only has an 8-megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM. At 6.9mm, it's a smudge thicker, and has the same chip and microSD card slot. It too has a 5-megapixel front-facer.
Both are 4G and run Android 4.4 KitKat. There's no word on whether they'll get the jump to Lollipop.
