The LG G2 will set wannabe owners back between £31 and £37 per month
With the handset having been officially unveiled last week, the LG G2 price has now been revealed ahead of the phone’s release date later this summer.
Speaking with TrustedReviews, an LG insider has revealed that the LG G2 price will see the handset set wannabe owners back somewhere between £31 and £37 per month - depending on the retailer and bundled allowances.
Although the SIM-free LG G2 price is still yet to be finalised, our source revealed that the phone would definitely not be sold at a heavily reduced, wallet-friendly price like the LG manufactured Nexus 4. Instead the handset is to rival the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One on pricing as well as specs.
With the South Korean manufacturer currently remaining tight lipped on the arrival of its next-gen flagship phone, an official LG spokesperson recently stated: "The LG G2 will be rolled out globally in over 130 carriers in the next eight weeks."
Disappointingly for wannabe owners in the UK, the company added that this rollout will "start in South Korea followed by North America, Europe and other key markets."
Although featuring a slightly unconventional design, with all physical buttons moved to the rear of the device, the LG G2 is set to be a true powerhouse of the smartphone scene, with a 5.2-inch edge-to-edge Full HD display lining up alongside a 2.26GHz quad-core processor.
Measuring in at just 8.9mm thick, the LG G2 specs sheet sees 2GB of RAM make the cut alongside Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and the option of 16GB or 32GB internal storage. The phone boasts a whopping 3000mAh Lithium-Ion battery, NFC and 4G connectivity options.
The LG G2 is no slouch on the camera front either. For this £31 to £37 per month outlay, you will be rewarded by a 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera with optical image stabilisation and a secondary 2.1-megapixel snapper up front.
