EE TV gets Now TV, brings Sky Sports, Movies, and more

EE has announced that, starting tomorrow, its EE TV smart box will offer the Now TV streaming service.

This is in addition to EE TV’s existing roster of content, which currently includes 70 Freeview channels, 13 of which are in HD, and 18 on-demand apps.

Pippa Dunn, EE TV’s Chief Marketing Officer, said: “We’ve developed the EE TV service so that exciting new content and services can be regularly added to enhance our customers home TV viewing experiences.”

Now TV means users can lump on a raft of bonus content courtesy of Sky, although there’ll be a surcharge to access the new goodies.

The cheapest package is the Entertainment Month Pass. This gets you a month’s access to 250 box sets and 13 pay TV channels, all for £6.99.

The box sets include Mad Men and Downton Abbey, while the channels include Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, and MTV.
