Apple has confirmed its App Store, iTunes Store, Mac App Store, and iBooks Store are all currently offline.

The company’s system status page is listing all four services as being ‘unavailable for all users’ at the time of writing (17:00 GMT).

This means users are unable to make purchases or download content from any of the online outlets.

A growing number of reports are suggesting that the outages are affecting users globally, including Apple’s US home soil.

iCloud was also affected earlier today, which resulted in some users being unable to access email via the service.

Some developers have reported that the issues are also affecting their ability to log into iTunes Connect.

This means that they cannot publish or update apps on any of the stores until the issue is resolved.

Some reports suggest Game Centre is also suffering from intermittent outages, but Apple’s status page makes no mention of any issues with the service.

There are no official comments from Apple in regards to the outage, but we’ll update you if a statement is released.
