Apple just announced that its latest mobile operating system update will go live today.
That’s software version iOS 8.2, the main feature of which is dedicated Apple Watch support.
What’s more, it’s going to bring with it a separate app store that serves Apple Watch apps to users.
This means it will be easy to separate which apps are for your iPhone and which apps are for your Apple Watch.
You’ll also be able to use the portal to find out more information about the Apple Watch.
There’ll also be settings to allow you to choose which notifications come to your Apple Watch, largely so you can avoid being spammed by unwanted content.
While the Apple Watch isn’t due to launch for another month, it’s good for users to get to grips with what content will be available at release.
It will also give devs some time to get to grips with the outlet their apps will be shipped on, which may help with various aspects of app design and marketing.

The update also brings significant development to health apps and biometric data logging.
In a similar vein, we’ll also see ResearchKit support, with five apps launching today dedicated to aiding medical research.
There’s also some improved stability for Mail, Music, and the Flyover feature for maps.
Finally, there are a huge number of bug fixes being offered by the update, the majority of which are minor.
