Google has launched a new online store where it’ll sell its growing array of branded hardware and respective accessories.
The store.Google.com portal went live on Wednesday and is fully stocked with the company’s Nexus, Android Wear, Chromebook (including the new Chromebook Pixel launched today), Chromecast, Nest and more products.
There’s devices from the likes of Motorola, Samsung, LG, HTC which are available to buy from today in the UK and the United States with the option of free shipping too. The store will feature a host of accessories, cases, keyboards, charges and frames for Google Glass.
Previously, many of those devices had been available from the all-encompassing Play Store, but hardware always felt shoehorned into the app and entertainment portal.
The Google Store, which boasts a clear design in line with Google’s Material Design language. gives the company parity with Apple, which has set the standard for the online tech shopping experience.

Questions may now be raised over whether Google has any plans to move into the brick and mortar retail space alongside the likes of Apple, Samsung and Microsoft.
The company has an ever-growing array of hardware up for grabs and continues to make inroads into the television, smart home and automotive industries as well as its traditional mobile-centric offerings.
