Apple's Siri personal assistant is set for another round of improvements within a forthcoming iOS 8 update.

9to5Mac reports the charmingly-vocal service will benefit from ‘more natural sounding speech synthesis' within iOS 8.3; expected this spring.

The report features a video clip sent in by a iOS beta tester showing smoother pronunciation of words like ‘America’ and ‘Potato.’ from iOS 8.1 to iOS 8.3.

As the report points out, the improved natural speech would be handy for the Apple Watch, which relies on Siri much more than other iOS devices.

It’s not yet clear when Apple will roll out iOS 8.3 as the first beta only just reached developers.

First will come iOS 8.2 featuring the Apple Watch Companion app. Naturally that release is set to arrive when the long-awaited smartwatch hits the US market in April.
