With the festive season upon us, OnePlus is finally giving everyone the chance to buy a OnePlus One smartphone – it’s a Christmas miracle.

With availability of the handset having previously been restricted to an invite-only model, the fledgling manufacturer is now opening its virtual doors to the masses.

The open-to-all orders are being accepted until December 25, with purchases made in the next couple of weeks promised to arrive in time for the holiday celebrations.

An official OnePlus spokesperson stated: “Starting today, you can bring the One home for the holidays. Purchase the OnePlus One in Sandstone Black or Silk White--no invite needed!”

Although stressing that “this offer is only available while supplies last,” the company has failed to detail availability figures.

The OnePlus One launched earlier this year with a high-end array of specs being bundled with a wallet-friendly price tag.

Setting wannabe owners back just £229, the OnePlus One pairs a 5.5-inch, 1080p Full HD display with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.

Matching the likes of the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 in terms of screen quality and power, the One adds a 13-megapixle primary camera alongside 3GB of RAM and a 3100mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.
