Samsung is getting in to the Christmas spirit by offering you some serious savings on your smartphone and wearable purchases.
In an effort to part you from your hard-earned cash, the Korean manufacturer has slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 as part of a one day festive treat.
Usually setting wannabe owners back £579, the Galaxy S5 is currently available for ‘just’ £519.
Further sweetening the deal, those snapping up the cut-price S5 will also receive a Samsung Gear Fit smart band thrown in for free. The wearable is usually priced at £169.
For those interested in the bundle, the deal marks a total saving of £229.
Announcing the deal via Twitter, the official Samsung UK feed wrote: “’Tis the season to indulge so be prepared. Get a free Gear Fit with every GS5.”
Although stock restrictions are unclear, Samsung has stressed that the deal will only be available today, Wednesday December 10.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch, 1080p Full HD display alongside a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.
With a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and a secondary, 2-megapixel snapper up front, the Galaxy S5’s specs sheet is rounded off by 2GB of RAM, an integrated finger print scanner and an in built heart rate scanner.
