LG G3 press renders leak to show phone in full glory

Official looking LG G3 images have leaked, with the prematurely teased press renders showcasing the upcoming handset in all its high-end glory.

With the heavily rumoured, but currently unconfirmed LG G3 having been the subject of multiple leaks in recent weeks and months, the first official shots of the device have now popped up, once again showing the handset in a trio of lustrous hues.

Despite giving the clearest, most professional look at the handset yet, the press images offer no further insight into the device beyond what has already been seen.

Shown in black, silver and gold colour schemes, the LG G3 looks set to feature an expansive, edge-to-edge display and a slimline, brushed metal or metal effect body.

Sticking with a design principle introduced last year, the G3 has been shown with a smaller, more refined rear button configuration, with the phone’s power and volume keys sat beneath the integrated camera and dual-LED flash offering.

According to recent rumours, the LG G3 will boast a 5.5-inch QHD panel, with a stunning 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.

On top of this visual party piece, the handset is expected to feature Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS, with a heavily updated LG UI.

An LG G3 release date is expected to be announced during the company’s confirmed May 27 launch event.

Although the Korean manufacturer’s latest effort at competition with the market leading likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 , the LG G3 will be forced to share the launch stage, with the LG G Watch set to be dated for release during the same show.
