Detailed iPhone 6 dummy compared to HTC One M8

A detailed iPhone 6 dummy has been compared to the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 in a range of leaked photographs.

There have been a number of iPhone 6 dummies bandied about to date, but this is the most detailed one we’ve seen yet.

The rumoured design closely resembles the latest iPod Touch model, but this particular model looks very similar to the HTC One M8 released earlier this year.

Of course the dummy is only based on leaked iPhone 6 schematics so there’s no official clues as to whether Apple will actually use this design or not, but there are definitely strong design cues taken from the One M8.

This comes right down to the markings on the back of the iPhone 6 dummy.

Rumours suggest the iPhone 6 will feature a 4.7-inch display, ultra-thin 6mm thick body and curved edges that will make it resemble HTC’s 2014 flagship.

There are also some touches of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in there too, as you can see in the images below. The hold button has been moved to the side and the volume buttons have been elongated to make it easier to use one handed with the larger screen.

In comparison to the HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5, the iPhone 6 is very similar in size and dimensions despite its smaller screen.

Another set of leaked images show the iPhone 6 travelling about the street and in the office, with a new pronounced TouchID gold band and slightly bulbus screen design.

Which do you think would more likely be the iPhone 6 design? Will 4.7-inches be the sweet spot for the new iPhone? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
