The Motorola Moto G has been spotted in an Amazon UK listing with a reasonable £160 price tag.
Ahead of the November 13 Moto G launch event, Amazon UK posted a listing for the budget Moto G complete with a very budget-conscious price tag.
Amazon UK suggests that Motorola will release the Moto G very soon after the event, with the listing stating availability starts on Wednesday, November 14.
What’s really interesting is that the Moto G is listed on the Amazon UK site, rather than the US arm of the online retail giant. This may well mean Motorola will launch the Moto G in the UK, unlike the US-exclusive flagship Moto X.
The Moto G should be a budget version of the Moto X and, according to Amazon, will retail for £159.99.
Amazon also confirms that the Moto G will have the customisation options of its flagship counterpart.
“Moto G is designed for all the things you want to do – taking and sharing photos, watching videos, checking scores, getting directions, listening to music, you name it,” reads the Moto G Amazon UK listing. “Moto G also gives you choices. Different backs you can switch out to reflect your unique style, and access to more than one million apps on Google Play to create your own mobile experience. Every detail is just how you’d like it.”
The Moto G specs were leaked earlier this month and revealed the device will have a 4.7-inch 720p HD display.
It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There will be a choice of 8GB of 16GB of internal storage and run on a 1,950mAh battery.
In the rear, there will be an 8-megapixel camera as well.
