Yet more Nokia Lumia 1520 pictures have leaked online, with the rumoured ‘phablet’ sized device shown off in a new red colour scheme.
Widely expected to be a Windows Phone 8 powered rival to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the Nokia Lumia 1520 has been the subject of much rumour in speculation in recent weeks, with new images of the mooted handset having now emerged online.
Appearing courtesy of the Twitter based serial tech tipster @Evleaks, the latest Nokia 1520 pictures has shown the oversized smartphone in a red hue for the first time, suggesting that like handsets such as the Nokia Lumia 1020, the device will be available in a range of vibrant colours.
According to recent Nokia Lumia 1520 rumours, the phone will line up with a 6-inch display in tow, with the expansive screen sporting a 1080p Full HD resolution and Nokia’s ClearBlack technologies.
Although it is not believed the Lumia 1520 will feature the same 41-megapixel camera as the 1020, it has been suggested that the Huawei Ascend Mate rival will host the same snapper as the Nokia Lumia 925 just wrapped within the company’s now familiar polycarbonate designs.
With the Nokia Lumia 1520 rumours hitting fever point, the Finnish phone manufacturer last month confirmed that a Nokia Lumia 1520 release date will be held on October 22 at the company’s annual conference which will this year be held in Abu Dhabi.
Expected to be one of the stars of the show, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is not believed to be the only new device on show at the upcoming convention. Having to date left the tablet market to its rivals such as Apple with the iPad mini and Google with the Nexus 7 2, Nokia now looks set to enter the tablet race.
Leaked as the Nokia Lumia 2520, the Nokia tablet will reportedly run a 10.1-inch display alongside a 6.7-megapixel rear-mounted camera and the Windows 8 operating system at its core.
