The LG G2 is available in the UK today, October 1, with a range of UK network providers stocking the new ultra-slim bezel device.
Offering users a 5.2-inch edge-to-edge 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution display, the LG G2 is just 8.9mm thin and 2.7mm wide thanks to an ultra-thin bezel.
Powered by a 2.26GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM, the LG flagship comes with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and a sizeable 3,000mAh lithium-ion battery.
In the rear it has a 13-megapixel camera offering optical image stabilisation and multi-point autofocus, and that is partnered with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing snapper.
4G and NFC connectivity also feature, and LG has introduced new features within its LG UX including QuickRemote, Guest Mode and Slide Aside multitasking capabilities.
Avaialble in the UK from today, several network providers have already announced their tariffs and pricing for the LG G2.
Three
The LG G2 can be purchased from Three for an upfront cost of £49 on a 24 month contract plan that all come with the network’s signature all-you-can-eat data.
Users can opt for the £29 per month Ultimate Internet 500 plan, which offers 500 minutes and 5000 texts, or bump up to the £32 per month Ultimate Internet 1000 plan that offers 1000 minutes and 5000 texts.
The LG G2 is also available on The One Plan for £35 per month that includes 2000 minutes, 5000 Three to Three minutes and 5000 texts.
“The G2 has got some interesting new features and a slick design. It’s also got some cutting edge technology that means it will be an attractive option for those that like to multi-task and stay constantly connected, especially with our all-you-can-eat data packages,” said Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three.
Three is also offering the LG G2 for £399.99 on a Pay As You Go contract.
