Samsung Level range

Samsung Level Over, On, In and Box

Samsung Level has been launched as the company’s new premium audio range aimed at mobile users.

Aiming to complement the company’s wide range of smartphone and tablet products like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, the Level range have been “mobile optimised” with “organic sound quality”.

“Samsung understands the importance of music and audio in the lives of our consumers,” said JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT and Mobile Communication at Samsung. “With the Level series, we have crafted incredible line of audio products designed for the mobile user with organic sound, premium design aesthetics and optimised mobile audio controls.”

All of the new Samsung Level range will be available from mid-May, with pricing points yet to be determined.

The range will be compatible with a new Level app for Samsung and Android phones, which will let you customise your listening experience via a special EQ system called SoundAlive.

Samsung Level Over Features

The Samsung Level Over are the flagship headphones in the Level range, offering a 50mm Dynamic Driver made with Neodymium for what Samsung claims is a more natural sound.

The overear headphones feature a hybrid active noise cancellation, combining sensors on the inside and outside to block out sounds.

Samsung has also used a free edge structure made from Bio Cellulose to prevent resonance with the frame to help ensure great sound quality.

Samsung Level On Features

The Samsung Level On on-ear headphones use a 40mm dual layered diaphragm for natural sound and are designed for a comfortable yet portable sound experience at a price point no doubt slightly less than the flagship Level Over headphones.

Samsung Level In Features

The Samsung Level In headphones are in-ear options, that the company states offer an “immersive sonic environment” via a three-way speaker system.

Samsung Level Box

This compact Bluetooth speaker is a bit of a first for Samsung and features a solid metal design with a metal speaker grille. It offers a 56mm stereo speaker and passive radiator that have been optimised to create high quality, crisp and balanced sound according to Samsung.

Within the Samsung Level Box is hardware dedicated to noise reduction and echo cancellation, plus you’ll get a built-in microphone that makes the speaker useful for conference calls.

It is NFC compatible as well as Bluetooth, which is useful for Samsung mobiles and tablets, as well as other Android devices.

The Level Box also features built-in buttons that let you control the volume, start or pause music content and accept/reject phone calls.

Battery-life wise, you’ll get 15 hours of continuous playback on a single charge.
