Latest iPhone 6 leaks show off retail packaging

Apple’s next-gen smartphone has reared its head once again, with latest leaks claiming to show off the iPhone 6 in its retail packaging.

With the iPhone 6 one of the most eagerly awaited products on the tech scene, newly surfaced images have shown the currently unconfirmed handset out in the wild. The iPhone 6 box also shown off for the first time.

With tipsters citing unnamed sources in showing off the images, it has been claimed that the fully functioning iPhone 6 has been teased courtesy of an Appel beta tester.

Although the shown off packaging is fitting with Apple’s past smartphone efforts, it wouldn’t be too hard for such a box to be mocked up. As such, we must suggest that these leaks be taken with a considerable pinch of salt for now.

Recent rumours have suggested that the iPhone 6 will be officially unveiled on September 9 ahead of hitting retailers the following Friday, September 19.

Expected to feature an all new design direction when compared with the existing iPhone 5S, the upcoming iPhone 6 has been repeatedly tipped to adopt a larger, 4.7-inch, display to better rival the mass of oversized Android handsets.

Further features believed to be heading for the iPhone 6 specs sheet include an A8 processor, improved TouchID sensor and the WWDC announced iOS 8 operating system.
